MAXsenna Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Anyone from Heatblur, I have owned the F4 from shortly after release. Now when I boot up DCS it says my License can’t be verified. It isn’t a playable aircraft for me any longer. What has happened ??Your Anti-Virus disabled it. Make sure you add exclusions for the Saved Games folders and the Eagle Dynamics folders in your AV. Then perform a repair and you should be good to go. There's no need to worry it's a false positive. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Tblue282 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 I’ll give it a shot. Haven’t had this issue before 1
MAXsenna Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I’ll give it a shot. Haven’t had this issue before Yeah, it always catches people the first time. Usually a couple of posts about it every day. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 1

Tom Kazansky Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Some day ED should add a warning to those licence error windows, to check for anti virus software exclusions. There are so many threads with this kind of problem and the same solution, including my own some time ago. And this won't be the last one I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate every one of those threads, bc they show there is a systematic problem with DCS that could occur to anybody (who hasn't made the exclusions before). (Never ever had such an issue with any other game/software.) 1
Tblue282 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 I was a counsel gamer before this and bought a computer just to try DCS. That was a couple years ago and many thousands of dollars later, and it was definitely a large learning curve with just getting setup and started, not to mention running into the issue I just did. Without YouTube or these forums I don’t think I would have been able to get started. All worth it but definitely a different experience from someone whose computer knowledge is only as good as I need it to be to get over the next hurdle lol. 2
