In the core game Sea Cats I think this is why they seem to perform so um, different from other naval SAM systems scheme = "command_guided_missile_sfe", I don't recall seeing that line in the other SAMs. There are some other values entered that are not "the normal" values that seem to be the same across most SAMs

Oban Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 I have had a good search for a model the 6-cell LY-60N SAM launcher without much success, I can put the RIM-7 Sea Sparrow in its place. 2 AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX with Radeon Graphics 3.00 GHz 32 GB RAM 2 TB SSD RTX 4070 8GB Windows 11 64 bit

I guess one way you can get around this is to do a kitbash of some kind, taking the launch boxes and arranging them together. This 3D model appears to be game-ready and rigged, and each component can therefore be easily separated. It's also just 8 dollars. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/skyguard-launcher-area-defense-system

Beldin Posted January 26 Posted January 26 A little video of the ships in action escorting HMS Invincible Enjoy. 5 1
HighMaintenanceB Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I just saw the video and I loved every minute of it. I understand that there's probably a lot on your plates right now, between the things you guys do outside of DCS, the Leander-class frigates, and Type 21 frigates you guys have been working on, but do you guys have any plans for the Type 22/Broadsword-class frigate, and the HMS Bristol, that one-off destroyer they turned into a moored training ship until recently? If things go well on my end, I'll try to send you guys some kind of donation - being a college student, it won't be much but I hope I can help in some capacity.

Beldin Posted January 26 Posted January 26 It was mentioned earlier in this thread. I have no idea on the time frame and I don't expect it any time soon... but am fairly confident is does exists. 1

I created a Sea Harrier lua and added it to the entry lua. Only tested for ai/solo missions. Model pylons are not correct for the real Sea Harrier but I like having it anyway. I just don't use the extra pylons. Also the gun pod seems to get ejected it the ai " drops tanks". Not sure why that is happening Back up the AV8B entry and overwrite with new one. Then add the SeaHarrier lua to the AV8B mod folder. You may need to find the RN skins for the AV8B for it to work entry.lua SeaHarrier_FA2.lua Edited January 26 by Beldin 1
