Mike Busutil Posted January 21 Posted January 21 It's been like 7 or 8 years since its release but I still fly the Christen Eagle often and enjoy making skins for her. The team has done an awesome job with this model visually. Two areas I feel are lacking are the engine power and engine sounds. The aircraft feels underpowered. For an unlimited aerobatic aircraft, it's difficult to fly an advanced or unlimited flight sequences. The engine/prop sounds are lacking. They both feel very quiet and monotone and have been the biggest complaint of the community. Is there any plans at all to update these at some point or will the model remain where it's at? Thanks. RustBelt Posted January 27 Posted January 27 For reference, the CE2 with an AEIO-360 4 banger, at 200HP is at less than HALF the power of Sean D. Tucker’s 400+ Hp Challenger IIi. They aren’t what people think of these days as an Unlimited Aerobatic monster. It can take 9+ G so it’s “Unlimited” but it’s not a powerhouse. The 1:1 or better power to weight ratio planes should more accurately be called “Super Unlimited”. The CE2 still needs to rely on momentum. You can't hang it off the prop like some of the planes now days.
