A/A Radar Attack Format antenna elevation carat and B-sweep swapped

Ok, this is an odd one.  I was playing with the various ACM modes and happened on this when using GACQ.  Here are the steps to reproduce:

  1. enter GACQ by selecting guns and acquire a target
  2. deselect guns by selecting another AA weapon with HOTAS AA weapon select control
  3. press PB10 to enter TWS
  4. modify current BAR by pressing PB6

The antenna elevation carat and B-sweep are now swapped, i.e., elevation carat appears to reflect azimuth and B-sweep now indicates antenna elevation position.  Weird!

Attaching a short TRK that shows the above steps.

Hello @Smashy

I watched your track, also followed your instruction and tried it myself, what do you mean "swapped"?

In my replays the elevation pitch carat continues to follow the bar sweep position and the B-line centroid is set above the target.

Perhaps you can illustrate what you are experiencing with a video capture. I can't reproduce the mentioned issue. Or maybe I misunderstood something.

I just tried to create a video and was unable to reproduce the issue as well with my posted TRK.  The elevation carat and B-sweep line worked as expected.  I reviewed the very same track yesterday before posting to make sure it showed the problem clearly.  So that's weird.

When I saw the problem over the past few days, it was after I had already spent a bit of time experimenting with the A/A radar and its various modes.  Maybe there are some other conditions that need to be there for this to happen.  I'm planning on toying with the radar some more and if I see the problem again, I'll try to note any other conditions/actions and get a video of it.

Appreciate the look, @Lord Vader.
