Panzertard Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 I suspect that ED might have an idea on what going on there - however, there's a couple of more items you might be able to enlighten us with. Ka-50\Temp folder - there may be a couple of .crash files. If you could please post the content here, or attach the files. :) And - if you do have some extra gaming gear, can you please list it? Where should it be? As far as Gaming Gear goes , Microsoft F.F2 Joystick. Logitec Wheel & Pedals, other Sims FS9,CFS1-3,Falcon 4,Strike Fighters CFS3 MAW & OFF John
159th_Viper Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 ......I have been searching for a Ka-50 Temp Folder without success..... C:/Flight Simulations/Ka-50/Temp In your main Ka-50 installation folder - In all probability not exactly as mine above, but close enough :) Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? Panzertard Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 If you installed at default location - it should be somewhere around "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50" Use your "Windows Explorer" and browse your way to that location - and see if you can find the Temp folder. :) As far as your equipment or other related stuff - can't really see anything abvious uncompatible or wrong so far. I hope the .crash file can give us some more information :) The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
J.J Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 Did you get my previous reply? Uninstalled Game removed all trace from Explorer & Registry, then re installed. Same result as before ,but multiplayer Icon opens Reg. Form and opening multiplayer screen. Two empty folders in Temp File, Missions & Error log. Have read through other similar problems with Launcher in Forum but nothing seems to be working. In view of the number of people experiencing these problems,is there any possibility of a forthcoming Patch .Regards John
Tez Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 First of all try unplugging all your input devices except mouse and keyboard. The next thing to suggest..., by the way have you tried everything mentioned here? Also it worth to uninstall codec packs. Maybe it's even the first thing worth to try. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] =653=Tez
J.J Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 Thank you for your reply Alexander. I will be away for a while, but will try your suggestions, and reply when I return. Thanks again John
Nate--IRL-- Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Can you get into the multiplayer part of the game, actually fly? Please also note that your graphics card may be the culprit. I believe that the Ge Force 4 Ti 4800SE is a DirectX 8 graphics card, minimum requirement for Black Shark is for a DirectX 9 graphics card. Black shark is really two separate programs the Launcher.exe (for setting options and picking missions) and the sim itself DCS.exe, which is ussually started by launcher.exe but is directly loaded for multiplayer bypassing the Launcher.exe. That said, the Launcher part of the program, should still work. I had a similar problem with a particular graphics setting on my ATI card, maybe you could try a different set of drivers for your graphics card.
