KFP_CHIMKIN Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I have saved templates for the following Normandy 2 airfields. Add them to the template file Saved Games\DCS\MissionEditor\templates.lua Gravesend Poix StAubin Broglie Detling Creil AmiensGlisy Guyancourt Evreux FecampBenouville Dunkirk-Mardyck BernayStMartin High Halden StAndreDlEure Headcorn Orly Villacoublay StOmerWizernes AbbevilleDrucat Manston BeaumontLeRoger Cormielles RouenBoos BeauvaisTille Conches I have no idea how accurate they are in terms of what actually existed... I just filled the circular sandbag emplacements with various AAA assets. I'll add more in time. templates.lua.txt 2 3
KFP_CHIMKIN Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Here's a mission file with all England bases AAA emplacements filled with appropriate AAA units. 2 bases (including Biggin Hill) lack sandbag emplacements and are therefore not filled in. I think mission file is the way to go so the user can easily swap country etc and save templates themselves rather than having to manually edit the template file. I'll do French bases with Third Reich AAA as soon as I can and then redo them with Allied units also. All England Airfields UK AAA.miz 1
KFP_CHIMKIN Posted February 7 Author Posted February 7 Around 44 French airfields have sandbag emplacements that I have filled with Third Reich AAA assets. All airfields with 88s have required range finder. All French Airfields Third Reich AAA.miz 2 1

Thanks a lot for sharing this, but the MIZ requires a User Mod: WW2 AI Units 2 by Cuesta Industrie (in addition to the official WW2 Assets Pack) I will look for that Mod before being able to try your work. Stonehouse Posted February 8 Posted February 8 (edited) May be of use to you, note quite a few coastal airfields were despoiled and unusable prior to the D-Day landings. https://www.ww2.dk/Airfields - France.pdf Edited February 8 by Stonehouse 1
352ndDeacon Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Please post a link to the WW2 AI units by Cesta Industries when you’ve located it. It will save the rest of us much time in trying to find it. Thanks in advance.
