Anyway to see moving map > 10nm for Syria?

I'm flying a Syria campaign at present and would like to use the moving map above 10nm range, even 20nm would be helpful.

Is there a way to force the moving map at higher scales?

Forum search shows some other forum topics, but some are closed or don't seem to give a final answer on this. eg.

Some thing you can do is decenter the map on either HSI or SA and that will double the scale looking infront of you.

It appears this is a Syria map issue, not a F18 module issue.

Best work around is to de-center and double the range, which the display actually shows. Thanks Hulkbust44.
