jg19er Posted February 5 Posted February 5 i need help in learning the complicated systems of modern aircraft. When i finally decided who i wanted to learn from on youtube. it was then that i realized the only to reach people was on discord. Before i part with a monthly payment i would at least like to talk to the person im going to be paying. Discord so far has been my biggest impediment. They tell me phone number is invalid[i talk on it everyday] when i try to use another method there's something wrong with that.Does anyone have any suggestions? please help. thank you.

Because Discord is free. If you just mention which module, I'm sure you will get tons of useful YouTube links. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 1

Seeing you have only 4 posts on this forum (welcome ): Have you ever considered being more active here on this forum? There's a sub-forum for each module and thousands of active forum members willing to help you for free. Paying someone via Discord to "train" you with DCS, sounds like an awful plan to me. There's more than enough YouTube tutorial video's out there for all modules, and the people on this forum will eagerly help direct you to these videos. There's also many very good step by step pdf guides, if you're more into reading than watching. After that you'll be proficient enough to join a virtual squadron and do a further deep dive there for free with likeminded enthusiasts. Not saying you're being ripped off, but you definitely don't need someone to teach you the basics (and more) of DCS modules in one on one sessions, especially if that person is asking money for it. 3 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
SharpeXB Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Sorry but the idea of paying someone to teach you a DCS module is ludicrous I can’t believe there are people out there who ask to be paid for this When I got the A-10 module 12 years ago I knew completely nothing about aircraft at all. I read the manual on my iPhone and taught myself. Plus there are just tons of videos and tutorials out there. This is just a game too it’s not as if you’re training to be a real pilot or anything. 2 i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

I know of at least three "prominent" YouTube channels that did/do offer this. One of them also claimed he was a real pilot when that was a lie. At least one of the three, Tim, is a real pilot. There are so many groups or squadrons someone could join if they want some sort of feedback or interaction. 1 i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
