I know that Heatblur pays a lot of attention to detail.

But what I saw today, really blew my mind:

My motor for the seat adjustment overheated.

You guys are really crazy. Thanks a lot for such a great module!

Before you call everything a "bug": RTFM & try again! Thank you. :music_whistling:

Now we can start thinking of the reason for a seat heating ... hm. Maybe some pilot-induced "oscillation"? :megalol:

For those who don’t understand German: it basically states “operate the seat height adjustment for maximum 30 sec every 10 minutes”.

So if you hold the switch down for longer than it takes to say 'SITZHOEHENVERSTELLMECH', the motor overheats. That should be easy to remember...

Yeah, it has some safety margin. We found some tests that hint at roughly 3min.

With seat stuff they are usually super extra careful, as its your only chance of surviving in a really bad situation. So you definetly don't want your seat to catch fire or something.

And the funny thing is that it’s still an abbreviation: the full word is Sitzhöhenverstellungmechanismus 😉

German efficiency at its best... 😉

The true efficiency is the word itself: only one word needed in German whereas e.g. in English you need eight:

“mechanism for the adjustment of the seat height“ 😉

There must be some "Sitzhöhenverstellungmechanismusmotorstromversorgungsleitungsabsicherungsreparaturanweisungsblatt" somewhere.... :smartass:
