MikeOscar Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) Edit: It required me to switch the radios away from and then back to channel 1 before hitting the spacebar. All good, awesome campaign!!! -- First of all, Mission 01 worked like a charm and I was impressed by the immersion. Great experience! When starting Mission 02 though, I connect ground power, turn on the battery switch, turn on the radios, switch to Green channel 1, and hit spacebar to start the radio checks. However, no radio checks are triggered and Chevy-4 and Chevy-5 start up, taxi and take off immediately. Any help would be much appreciated. baltic_dragon Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Their "uncontrolled" status must have been removed during the DCS update (sigh).. I'll have a look. For more information, please visit my website. Scarecrow Posted Monday at 03:44 PM Posted Monday at 03:44 PM Comms in this mission are pretty difficult. I had the same issue, engines needed to be started before radio check could be completed despite ground power. I managed to get up into the air and switched to the channel for "Sally" as directed by the on screen prompt, eventually though i ended up listening to my half of the conversation with no idea what was being said to me. I dont if thats an issue with triggers or if the channel needed to be changed again but i was not given a prompt, its really frustrating. Im not a military pilot so i dont know procedures and there isnt much instruction and there a a lot of radio channels being used. I had assumed that red radio would remain on channel 1 and green would be used to switch to different channels for comms between different flight elements etc. This is a pure moan post as this mission really requires more instruction for the player who isnt experienced in the radio procedures, to familiarise them with the radio procedures on this familiarisation flight.
