Solo_Turk Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I have thrustmaster warthog. Made some adjustment for physical afterburner detent on warthog and noticed that when my throttle is IDLE physically, throttle in game never goes to idle. In axis tune it says you have 100% output for idle but controls indicator says nope you have 90%. I don't have this problem with other modules they work as expected.
razo+r Posted March 1 Posted March 1 (edited) What you are seeing here is a F-18 specific feature. It has two different idles, ground idle and inflight idle. Inflight idle being higher than ground idle. And you are locked out of ground idle as soon as you lift off and once you are back with weight on wheels, ground idles unlocks (but your throttles ingame do not automatically move to ground idle, you have to slightly move them to go into ground idle) Edited March 1 by razo+r 1

If you happen to be in idle when you touch down and don't push throttle ahead a bit and back to idle you'll remain in FLIGHT idle and likely run off the far end of the runway due to the extra thrust provided. 2
