DON'T DO THE UH-60M...instead, do the HH-60G

Literally what the title says lol. I believe the HH-60G would be such a better fit for DCS than the UH-60M.
Radar, touchscreen display with camera, IFR probe, capability of crew chiefs fixing the guns forward and letting the pilot shoot them (there's your DAP), sexy analogue Blackhawk cockpit, with a good mix of gauges and displays, and so much more

I understand that the UH-60M could provide more specific purpose to DCS that ED really wants to capitalize on, especially with the dynamic campaign starting to pop up more, but in my opinion, the HH-60G is a better fit for DCS

Not really - it fits the GWOT and imagined scenarios and not much else.

HH-60G if one could be done would fit so much more (end of Cold War, Gulf War, Iraq War and GWOT), as well as being a contemporary to the DCS AH-64 (which predates UH-60M introduction by almost half a decade) and Mi-8MTV2. 

But if the HH-60G cannot be done, I'd personally prefer a UH-60L (fits the same scenarios as the HH-60G (and by extension the UH-60M), but can cosplay as Cold War UH-60A better.

I don't really understand why ED are so seemingly adamant on only doing an M.

100% agree with you.

Personally, if you asked me, it's because the modules with glass cockpits probably sell better, considering the majority of DCS players probably like that. 

Also, the AH-64D and CH-47F both have glass cockpits, so that could be another reason as to why they want to do a UH-60M.

But I'm not a fan of the M, and I'd much rather have a UH-60L or even a UH-60A if an HH-60G is not possible.

The main problem with the HH-60G is the fact CSAR isn't a thing in DCS having said that I will point out that I asked for CSAR.

I think the W would probably be more sensitive in terms of sensors and added equipment. However, the UH-60M's avionics (which the HH-60W has) are definitely possible to an above acceptable extent I'd say.

CSAR would be something I'd look forward to in core DCS.
