upyr1 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 The F-80 would be awesome for Korea and what if WWII scenarios 1
bies Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Though this two were much different. P-80 from 1945 was evaluated by the USAF against German Me-262 and concluded being much worse then Me-262. F-80 from Korea was significantly better, more reliable, much faster, using a lot stronger engine and different wing profile. In my humble opinion F-84 may be better as P-80 didnt't make it to the WW2, and it was a bit dated in Korea. When F-84 had quite a payload and it was successfull ground pounder. 2
Dragon1-1 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 P-80 actually did fly in WWII, but only for recon over Italy. In Korea, it was much improved, and it was a successful attacker. So I think it'd be nice to see it. 1

I'd expect to get the C though if we could get both that would be cool 53 minutes ago, bies said: In my humble opinion F-84 may be better as P-80 didnt't make it to the WW2, and it was a bit dated in Korea. We might not have an Italian map, but I was thinking the P-80 would be great for the Normandy maps 1
