This is happening in the F-18C ATFLIR as well. it is any and all static objects (ships, runways, buildings, trees, etc)

Had the same thing just happen in an F-14 (monitor, not VR), while lining up to drop a GBU-24 onto the Syrian Presidential Palace in Damascus from 35,000 ft. The palace was blinking in and out of view, while the buildings around it stayed visible. As I got nearer the issue went away, making me wonder whether it is some sort of LOD bug.

I tried to change LOD and much more  in my settings but no joy.

I'm glad I am not alone so ED fix this bug please.

Me and one of my friend have the same problem in VR with the Viper and the Hornet.

Buildings are disappearing and or appearing when searching for targets. 
Also at night the Jtac Laser when sparkle is confirmed appears suddenly and very late.

But the spotting issue is also at the f18‘s tgp present.

I think this is an important topic, dont know why there is no attention for it. 

especially since it affects the F18 and F16. Playing the gamblers campaign was quite annoying with it.

Maybe its an VR only issue.

Changing preload or visibility to extreme does not change this behavior.

Sorry for the late reply on this, we already have something similar to this reported and being worked on internally, currently draw distance is based on the same as normal view which obviously with the zoom of the TGP makes it not so great, you will also see that vehicles draw distance is farther so a vehicle hidden behind a building will be shown when zoomed in if the building hasn't popped up yet. So we are working at making this better, but have to be careful with impacts on performance, etc. Thanks.

Good to know that ED Team is working on that issue. You may combine it with new fog to make distance  perfect and to be more realistic in TGP.  Fingers  crossed.

Please make it better ASAP .
