During the Vietnam War the United States Air Force discovered that their pilots’ survival rates improved significantly once they completed their first ten combat missions. In 1975 Tactical Air Command created a highly realistic training exercise to provide the aircrews those first 10 missions in peace time. They called it: Red Flag. 

This mock battle in the skies over the Nevada Test and Training Range has produced aviators that can not only survive the dangers of modern air combat, but dominate the skies. In the next 2 weeks you’re gonna find out just how real it can get.

In order to be prepared and successfully complete the missions I highly recommend reading the campaign intro pdf as well as the briefings under mods/campaigns/Red flag/Doc

As a newb to the F4 who is abysmally bad at ACM (and has played mainly warbirds) - would you recommend Mig Killers first or Red Flag? Already have Mig Killers (unstarted) but happy to start with Red Flag.

MiG killers will teach you ACM, coming from warbirds will be an advantage. 
 

it will teach you how to handle the F-4 and then Red Flag will be easier afterwards
