grim_reaper68 Posted Sunday at 08:54 AM Posted Sunday at 08:54 AM (edited) Hi I open a new post for the Frankfurt airport as it's ILS is totally broken. First of all, the 109.60 and 110.80 frequencies aren't usable. I made a test by changing them for 109.55 and 110.75 so the F-16 could use them. I made a test on the 25 runway, so there are no modification. But then I had another surprise. In fact the 7L-25R GlideSlope (GS) is broken. It seems to be on the ground. You can compare it below, first 7L-25R and second 7R-25L. I was in active pause so the aircraft didn't move. For the 7L-25R runway, I can fly 30ft above the ground, the needle doesn't go up. By talking of the runway 7R-25L the GS seems to be at the wrong end. In fact if you take look at the screen below the GS on the HUD is way above that what it schould be. It's at the wrong end of the runway. Edited Sunday at 08:56 AM by grim_reaper68
grim_reaper68 Posted Sunday at 07:00 PM Author Posted Sunday at 07:00 PM I finally found the problem: the glideslope frequencies are inverted... I switched them for both runways, of course with 109.60 changed to 109.75 to make it usable and the same for the 110.80 changed to 110.75. Now everything alright. Here a screen on the 7L (109.55), I could made an autoland with the M2000. Now guys, you can set it up correctly in the LUA. 3
Rongor Posted Sunday at 09:56 PM Posted Sunday at 09:56 PM Btw. frequencies published by DOD FLIP in 1991 had been RWY07L - 110.10 MHz "RHM" (109.60 MHz in DCS) RWY07R - 111.10 MHz "IRF" (110.80 MHz in DCS) RWY25L - 110.70 MHz "IFM" RWY25L - 109.50 MHz "DLF" 109.60 and 110.80 are indeed incompatible with ICAO-ILS frequency plan. Between 108.10 MHz and 111.95 MHz, only .10, .15, .30, .35, .50, .55, .70, .75, .90, .95, are allowed. Btw. all Frankfurt runway headings in DCS are 9° higher than published... Ugra, please fix the ILS07L and 07R frequencies by changing them to either 109.55 and 110.75 or to 110.10 and 111.10. 1
