Gunfreak Posted Tuesday at 11:54 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:54 AM (edited) And it's dcs that crashes not the server. If I start the same mission in singleplayer. It works. But when joining my own server. The game crashes on or after coalition select. I don't get a crash file/zip. But I did send the crash through the crash reporting system. Edit, it seems to be related to the CWG map, I took a mission from Kola map, and the server and everything worked. So It's CWG related Edited Tuesday at 12:03 PM by Gunfreak i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 3090, 64Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

I uninstalled the entire dedicated install, thinking if I installed the CWG map with the full install, it might fix it. But CWG map isn't part of the install yet. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 3090, 64Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

Your System ran out of Memory Increase RAM or add a custom page file Your GPU ran out of VRAM Reduce Terrain Textures and Shadows. Doublecheck your pagefile. Given the amount of RAM you have on your system, and your video card, this can be a little unexpected. However this is definitely evident in the log file. I would recommend deleting the Saved Games\DCS\fxo and metashaders2 folders as there have been occurrences in the past with older cached textures causing out of memory errors even with systems with large amounts of VRAM and RAM. Disable core parking. Additional advice: Verify that this is configured correctly in Windows: Game Mode disabled Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling disabled Core Isolation disabled Remove the OH6GunnerExport script for performance reasons. Follow the above, see if this resolves anything, and if not then drop another log file. Note that the DxDiag log file in the zip indicates issues, may be similar, with other processes on your machine. There's a few for GameInputSvc.exe (Windows Game Input Service). 1 1 AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2
sleighzy Posted Tuesday at 10:12 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:12 PM (edited) Bignewy mentioned that you have IC failures and to remove mods, however you stated you have no mods. The IC failures can actually be due to the out of memory errors and the textures are unabled to be loaded, this is a false positive that they are an IC failure, see example error below....you have a lot of these, which indicates the memory issue I mentioned earlier. 2025-04-22 19:44:18.941 ERROR EDCORE (2092): More out of memory in SharedBuffer for 11184952 bytes. 2025-04-22 19:44:18.941 ERROR EDCORE (2092): Not enough memory to decompress: uh1_tail_us_army.dds 2025-04-22 19:44:18.943 WARNING SECURITYCONTROL (2092): IC fail: /textures/uh1_tail_us_army @ bazar/textures/uh-1.zip 2025-04-22 19:44:18.943 ERROR BACKENDCOMMON (2092): Can't load image '/textures/uh1_tail_us_army.dds'. I have 32gig Vram and 64 gig DDR5 ram, so it's odd that I should run out of RAM, but I guess that is what is happening, also odd I can fly this in singe player with goodish performance, but the on a dedicated server it crashes instantly. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 3090, 64Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted 21 hours ago ED Team Posted 21 hours ago Hi Gunfreak, are you overlocking at all? Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Gunfreak Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago Ok, this is a bit odd, I have 64 gig, But when Running server and DCS I use 31 gig of ram, however task manager says that's 95% so somehow my PC only uses half of my ram, even though, all places say 64(bios, NVidia app etc. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 3090, 64Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

Gunfreak Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago Ok, looking more at the task manager, it seems I do have 64 gig, when I hit the performance tab, however it seems that half my ram disappear into nothingness. Combining all my processes turns into around 32 gig, yet my remaining 32 gig also disappear, but they don't seem to be used in any app. in processes I have 100% usage and the combined processes are 32gig. However looking at performance 64 gig is used, but there is no evidence where those remaining 32 gigs have gone i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 3090, 64Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
