Heling Posted April 23 Posted April 23 (edited) The A10C II isn't selectable in the mission editor. The A10A is only listed. Is there an additional button for modern aircraft? Everything's fine in the quick mission editor. But I'd like to build something bigger. Edited April 24 by Heling gelöst
Trancers Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Hi, I have tested it, and all looks fine. I`m able to select and set the A10C II in "normal" mission editor and it`s playable! Also lüppt wie gewünscht! i9-11900KF 3.5-5.3GHz, 64GB DDR4 3600, RTX 3080ti 12GB, M.2 Gen4 Warthog HOTAS & TPR TrackIR F/A-18C, F-16C, F-14, AH-64D, A-10C II, F-15E, F-4E Phantom II Supercarrier Caucasus Syria Persian Gulf Nevada South Atlantic Marianas Sinai Kola Cold War Germany EDDH Proud Dad of Twins
zerO_crash Posted April 23 Posted April 23 (edited) The button you are looking for in the mission editor, is called "Historical Units Only". It's at the bottom of the editor window, and looks like a wristwatch. Toggle it to "off", and all units/armament will be selectable. Edited April 23 by zerO_crash 3 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Or set the mission date to a year where the A-10C was actually in service. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

OP had written about this issue a few times already. He posted this in English, but in the German section of the forum. I guess I should have just stuck with English as well. In which case... @Heling: In case none of the previous answers helped you, it would be cool if you could post a mission that doesn't allow you to place an A-10C. However, the culprit is most likely the Historic Filter, and modules like AH-64D or F-16C probably aren't available either, right? Edited April 23 by Yurgon
Heling Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 Okay, let's stick with English... Yes, you're right! I unfortunately overlooked the clock you described, as I've never used DCS in 15 years... Someone had pointed me to the "Historic button," but I couldn't find it. Now I can use it to switch between aircraft groups up to 1999 or unlimited. However, I can see the AH-64D and the F16C in both time periods. Thank you for the quick clarification! 2
