CJS Posted Saturday at 10:22 PM Posted Saturday at 10:22 PM (edited) Win 11 Pro - Oculus Link Cable and Q3 The same as a lot of others having great difficulty getting the LINK cable to connect. A Oculus repair sorts it until reboot and back to square one... no connect. After being led up and down the garden path by Meta support I found from a link somewhere pointing the blame at the OVR service. So as a temp fix that works for me each time is when starting Meta link software it hangs on the meta icon whilst trying to connect via the cable to the headset. Works for me: go taskbar manager processes and kill the oculus app. Then go to Services in the Taskbar Manager (at the bottom on the left) find OVRService and right click over it and select restart. The service will stop then star again.... often the main MetaQuest software will start else manually start and all should be good... DCS runs perfectly with no lockouts etc.... for me till Meta sort the issue. Edited Saturday at 10:24 PM by CJS
