Question to DEVS - which file inside DCS world determines - main game monitor/window?

This is related to my problem when main DCS screen moves to different minitor .how to move DCS to my main screen?

Tried with fullscren on and off inside DCS - no difference...

the main monitor is usually the one on the left and it is determined by windows. Attach your monitor.lua we can take a look. Its been some years since I used DCS on more than one monitor.

Helios can help you to write the correct file for reference, even if you're not going to export any instruments, (except for MFDs).

H_0-HR_F18_4-screens.lua

Here's my setting - created from helios...I repeat that it works from a start, but if i accidently disconnect one of other monitors while DCS is still running, it messes something, and my main DCS screen gets squished or moves to other monitor...Although inside windows setting  my main monitor stays the same...Also this lua file (H_0-HR_F18_4-screens) doesn't change at all....Something somewhere else gets changed, which messes with my position of main DCS screen and exported screens. On the picture above i have photographed previous setup with 3 screens, but as of latest i am using 4 screen setup with one added tablet, hence the modified H_0-HR_F18_4-screens.lua file

Right, that happens to me too. I always assumed that it was a Windows thing. Even happens if I leave DCS open, and go do something else, it can happen if one of the screens turns off. Don't believe this can be fixed by any Lua file. Either it's DCS that does it when Windows tells it the screen configuration has changed. Not sure if there is anything that can be done right now, unless there exists a screen config tool that can lock the configuration and block/override the one from Windows. Are you running any other screen config tools or special screen savers/background utils. I know Razer's has a bug and will suddenly swap my screens around when the background changes, even if Windows reports correctly.

Well on top of space desk util, and helios,  I use "display fusion" tool - for managing different apps windows screen placement...And inside display fusion i can add script trigger function to specifically set windows x/y coordinates and x/y size of any program - so i even tried to force DCS process window to move to specifc location and size but it doesn't work for some reason...

Any other app of course i can set location and x /y  size any way i like

Right! I use DisplayFusion too, sort of. I haven't gotten around to digging around how to use it in the best way, and I was kind of hoping it could prevent the issues you're seeing.
I got to know it from some YouTuber that uses it to turn off various screens or else his Pimax wouldn't work due to some Windows limitations.
Personally, I have only seen this happening with DCS, so maybe making a bug report or a wish, to have DCS prevent resizing if a display is disconnected, should be feasible.
