Nope, the yellow tint on the front canopy is something uneven on the Su-27 fleet. Some frames have that, others not.

Oh, I see. In previous versions, it was yellow. I initially thought it was a bug. Thanks for explaining.

Would anyone have reference pictures from inside on the tinted version? Because I found pictures with very different tones, and some as strong as this

I'm curious if this is for sun shading, front rcs reduction, the museum putting a yellow film to look cool, or just severe degradation.

this is yellowing from prolonged sun exposure.

My best bet would be reduction of frontal radar cross section. It looks extremely similar what F-16 has.

I remember it was yellow back in the DCS 1.5 days. Flaming Cliffs modules are old though and were not built for the changes to lighting and material properties that came after 2.5 .
Not even the recent "remaster" fixes that.

Well, I like the clear cockpit but an optional yellow cockpit in the 'Special' menu as in the F-16C would be nice.

Sure, but the reasons for that are very different: in the Falcon the entire canapy is gold coated to reduce the RCS, while on Cy-27 it’s just a type of plexiglass that changes colour due to age and exposure to sunlight.
