tomh19 Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 OK! So I went through the training tracks and it showed me how to change weapons and everything. When I try to do this for myself in a mission I select say air-to-ground and select rockets and press fire, but the canon fires instead. So I try to select any other weapons and the same only the canon fires. No matter what weapon I select in air-to-air or air-to-ground only the canon will fire. I assumed this was a bug so I bought flaming cliffs, installed the patch and checked everything was right and it still happens. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?! Please someone help me, much appreciated. tomh19

zakobi Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 If you are flying US aircrafts that might be the answer, since the have two weapons buttons, "1" for the cannon, nomatter if your in "cannon-mode" or not, "2" is for realising weapons, missiles, bombs and rockets. On russian aircrafts on the othr there's only a single fire weapon button: "1" 1: Spacebar 2: Enter Damn, you came first SuperKungFu

FBW Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 i think for western planes, "fire" is cannon and "release weapon" is everything else.....I use joystick, so i programmed "fire" on my trigger and "release weapon" on a button that is easy to reach.
