Collomater lens too opaque/reflective in overcast conditions

This is really a DCS-wide issue that affects a lof of modules, but some are affected more than others so maybe it can be tweaked on a per-module basis, but in overcast settings the collimator lens is way too opaque and reflective, turning everything within that lens space into an amorphos blob. It's impossible to discern targets through it, and in some cases it's not possible to pick out ridgelines against higher terrain behind them. You can also see in this screenshot the trees are easily distinguishable out the left and right sides of the canopy, but where the collimator glass is it's just a dark blob with some smudges. In addition to making it difficult to employ A2G weapons it makes low level flying more precarious than it should be in daylight when one considers both the transparency of an actual collimator and the human eyes' ability to adjust to lighting conditions.

I agree with this, it seems a little too dark compared to what i would expect but it could be that this was just the case with the phantom. There is a mod that you can use on the user files page that passes ic to make some of the skins you would like have clear front glass.

That mod makes the Pilot Visor and Shades clear also.  TC
