Hi,

im having difficulty dropping the GBU-8s. 
I complete the checklist. I get TV signal. I even get a lock-on the target. Then I held the pickle button and nothing happened. 
I was in a shallow dive. Held pickle for couple seconds. Had a couple runs but couldn’t drop it. Not the best timing for hung ordnance.
are there any additional steps involved in the WSO seat that I missed maybe?

any tips are appreciated!

I'm having this same issue. I can't tell if the GBU-8s are bugged.

I also had some problems, the first one always dropped fine, the second got stuck sometimes. It's either a GBU-8 bug or a Phantom bug.

I can confirm, the problem still persists. I also tried the mission again using Walleye instead of Hobo and had the same problem. It seems to be a TV-guided bomb issue when you start from the ground. The instant action mission for the hobo on Marianas still works. In my case, neither bomb will release.

You gotta reach out to Heatblur guys, I can’t make the hobos droppable or not droppable from within the editor. I put them on the jet and that’s all.

This issue apparently still persists even after the most recent patch, which addressed some Phantom things. I just had it today, but foolishly didn't save the track. Does anyone have one to post in the HB forum with a bug report and link to this thread?

When I flew it today, Jester did call out as if I hit and I got full destruction and TOT points. Is that an interim solution because it's broken?

I went to try to reproduce the issue with a cold start on a different mission and couldn't do it. There must be something else that's more subtle that's breaking in that mission. Without a track, I'm not sure HB will be able to figure it out, though, and I vaguely recall that tracks may not even work when using the Jester UI (which is basically necessary to start the plane).

I'll delete the payload and then assign it again. This is really all I can do from the mission editor.
