Michi.G85 Posted May 11 Posted May 11 It would be nice if there was a hint which options has which impact on which PC-Part. For example, everything that stresses the CPU could be marked in blue (or any other way). What stresses the GPU could be marked in red and so on. This would make optimizing much easier.
draconus Posted May 12 Posted May 12 (edited) It's not that easy. Some options can affect both CPU and GPU, some also affect RAM/VRAM and their performance hit depends on the hardware from not affecting at all to significant hit. Some hints already include that info. Edited May 12 by draconus Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

Some hints already include that info. This is true. I think there should be better documentation though. Last time i checked it didn't tell you that flat shadows are CPU drawn for example. Also better documentation on things like preload radius... There's a lot of misinformation floating around because without documentation people are susceptible to placebo effects when setting those things. 2
