Hi, I am trying to figure out how to set the 2 front paddles on my throttle as toe brakes.  I have watched the videos and nothing directly pertains to the paddles.  I read forums and found nothing.  If someone could explain how to do this step by step (afraid I will something up on the throttle) it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I am an idiot when it comes to using programs like this lol and thank you for any help.

I simply bind to wheel brakes in dcs (i use those as brakes with a modifier)

That is what I have done currently.  But, binding as a button is full brakes or no brakes.  I want to be able to apply Suttle brake when needed in turns.  I just feel that having an axis as toe brakes would be better than a button press...half brakes as apposed to full brakes.

They are buttons/switches so its on or off, AFAIK you need an axis for what you are trying to achieve. In XPlane you can set different brake pressures per button press, not sure that is possible in DCS.

Ah ok..now I understand your issue.
Ok...with the vkb configurator you can to button to axis, what I don't know is if the two levers are just buttons or there is an analog axis behind the scenes.
I need to check later today if that is possibile

The front paddles are buttons, not axes, so you are never going to get a smooth application of braking using them.

As DCS also allows to use modifiers for axes you might bind the brake with a modifier to an axis. If you use the STEM with S-TECS there is a hidden axis under the white 3-way switch on the left. It can be assigned to an axis as JOY_RZ.

DCS: A-10A Flaming Cliffs, A-10C II Tank Killer, AH-64D, Black Shark 3, F-4E Phantom II, F/A-18C, F-16C Viper, Fw 190 A-B, Mi-24P Hind, Mosquito FB VI, P-47D, P-51D - all maps - Combined Arms, WWII Assets

System: HP Z2 Tower, Win11 24H2, i9-14900K, 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD (M2) + 18TB HDD (Sata), GeForce RTX4070 TI Super 16GB VRAM, Samsung Odyssey 57" curved monitor (main screen) + BenQ 32" UW3270 (secondary screen), VKB Gunfighter Ultimate MK4 + S-TECS Throttle
