  1. New software and new settings, try this one? I haven't yet but it looks similar. https://gaming.tobii.com/games/dcs-world/ I am just using these until I get my head around the apache lol https://help.tobii.com/hc/en-us/articles/18507056489233-DCS-World
  2. Couple of things. Is the twist axis calibrated correctly? If it is do you have a curve set in DCS? If so remove the curve and try, if no curve set it at 20 for the rudder axis and adjust to your liking.
  3. I ordered a 100mm and 200mm extension as a bundle on Ebay but already have a 100mm ext so I am selling the surplus 100mm. No idea of history as it was second hand, the locking sytem was jammed but I have freed it up and tested on my GF3 all worked okay electronically. Would like £25 posted UK only . Cheers Mark
  4. I am transferring from racing to just flight simming, 8020 rig, so I just need to rejuggle stuff around plus add wheels so I can move the rig in a corner. So far its working out as minimal swapping for GA, Airbus, GA rotary and of course DCS, will know by the end of the week if I have achieved that.
  5. Hi, I have the MkIV T rudders, 38 cm at the widest and the pedals do indeed press down within the footprint of the base, 21-25 cm deep, its adjustable depending on your foot size, but your feet will stick out beyond the pedals. Looking at the MkV it seems they just changed the sensor. I suspect the Mk4 will just be the same frame size. They are pretty compact. Cheers
  6. Weird, I had the wrong size nut in the counterbalance kit but never used the fixing bolts for the collective which have M5 nuts so issue resolved. Yet to try it in anger with the Apache grip as I am re positioning everything on my rig which is a major strip down.
  7. Oh I might qualify that if turbulence was modelled it might make a difference ;)
  8. I have the NLR motion on my 8020 P1 rig from Sim-labs, its prime use is sim racing along with simvibe and 6 transducers for which it is totally in the zone, especially in VR. For flight sims I am not finding the motion that much of a help TBH, I had 10 years crewing a rotary, if you fly in balance you shouldn't have any side leaning, the fore and aft movement is okay but it doesn't pass on that G moment when you go light or heavy in the seat. Now if the software allowed side leaning when you are out of balance it would be very good. IMHO just for flight simming 2 DOF is probably not worth the money. VR and transducers most definitely.
  9. Same here using NVCP, but Supersampling does work in NVCP, Antialiasing-transparency with VR.
  10. From personal experience I used Track IR for Flight Sim and triples for Racing, track Ir was not very good in racing and triples not very good in flight sims, head tracking and triples together in flight sims didn't work together for me either. Flightsim only, a 1440 27 inch monitor and headtracking would be the best option for me. Now I use Oculus rift for both :)
  11. Happy to go take it for a spin for you to charge up the battery etc :megalol:
  12. Its the 1200R done a tail tidy, rad protection, SC Project exhaust, crash bung stuff, probably get some carbon bits eventually, always wanted a Ducati, too old/sensible for the sports stuff now and the prices are twice as much as the Monster, no fairing was a conscious choice as I do tend to get a bit carried away tucked in. Factory 160BHP will do me on a 207kg bike for the road, loadsa torque which is what I want, had the 821 for 10 months, fast enough just not torquey enough, no interest in top speeds anymore just the acceleration. To top that it is the best handling bike I have ever ridden and is purely a toy :smilewink:
  13. Perfect, that was the issue, much easier to hover now, landing is still tricky LOL thank you for replying.
  14. I have searched the forums and cannot find anyone else reporting this so maybe its my end, using a MS sidewinder 2 FFB, with warthog throttle and simped pedals. Pilot trimmer is bound to button 3 on the sidewinder, nothing else is bound apart from the keyboard "T" so no conflicts. Everything control wise checks out apart from the trimmer, I press the trimmer holding the button down, adjust the stick and release the button, the stick jumps forward and right where it stays, obviously not where I want it trimmed to. The only time it doesn't move elsewhere on button release is when it is centred. Its a shame as a bit of trim would be nice, especially hovering. So do I have it set up wrong?
  15. Three weeks later and all still working, that's 2 weeks 4 days longer than last time.
  16. Okay, thats not quite how I read the thread, just TM were sending him a new Mobo, nothing about returning the existing one, but I haven't read all the arguments following :music_whistling:
  17. Well guys, having read in another thread that someone is getting a new board for their throttle I am wondering of there is a hardware change which may will make this firmware a bit awkward. I would suggest patience at this stage rather than risking your throttles.
  18. Had a look around at Target for the first time, cannot see any option for backing up the firmware.
  19. Hey Brew, yep thats me, I will do as soon as I get over this shocking run of work ATM.
