P3CFE Posted May 22 Posted May 22 I find It is almost impossible to find a moving tank with the Atflir in TV or IR mode. Even if i see it in eyesite and groundstabelize with HMD, i still can't find the tank on the green screen of the ATFLIR. The difference between grass and that big hunk of hot Metal is almost nill. This can't be so hard IRL, what am i doing wrong here ?? !! I tried Brightness and Contrast adjustments, but no Joy. Also point Track is never working, so i suspect that the ATFLIR sensor itself also is not seeing any difference between Grass and a tank. Very frustrating Anybody with the same problem or with a solution ? Regards

P3CFE Posted May 22 Author Posted May 22 (edited) Oke, i'll try later.. Thanks for the answer But i undertand from youre answer that the problem i'm having is not something that others have. Then i'll first try to sort it out for myself some more. Thanks PS: I should have added that i'm using VR with the Vario. Edited May 22 by P3CFE
P3CFE Posted May 22 Author Posted May 22 Okay, tried again and took some more time fiddeling with contrast and brightness, (Brightness far down and contrast high) made it workable for me. So I think my gripe is solved.. Regards
