Cockpit textures too dark?

I get that the panels are painted black but it's the same with pretty much every allied aircraft and yet the corsair cockpit looks way darker.

+1, its true, it could be a little brighter. Good example is F-4E of HB. In such situations you should either use a different colours of roughmet or not black but a grayish texture.

+1 I have increased gamma in the meantime but it would be fantastic to have the cockpit a bit brighter to see all those beautiful details better.

I'm currently working on adjusting PBR values on all black surfaces.  Compare the auxiliary panel to the wall.
