Essex Liveries

Hello to all the great Magnitude3 people on this forum!

 

Quick question regarding the Essex.

 

Should we be waiting for more Essex liveries or a template at some point?

You guys did a great job adding F4U liveries for carrier other than the CV-11, but can we hope to see the 

actual ship in game?

When things settle down, I'll be implementing the ability to change deck numbers via the ME options.

+1 though note that CV-11 is currently the name used in the mission editor. Personally, I'd rather the ship depict a class, allowing for more task groups to be depicted.

If it was intended to represent a class it should be renamed to "Essex". If it was intended to just depict the Intrepid, the "CV 11" name can be retained, but I'd personally change the name in the unit List to "CV 11 USS Intrepid" or "CV 11 Intrepid".

EDIT: Sniped, though @-Rudel- will the F10 map name reflect a class in that case?

Just and FYI, me and a couple of friends created a battlegroup with 3 Essex (CV-11, CV-13 and CV-17 I think) in it. One of those is only used to carry static unit on the deck, but out of the other two, the arrester wire only works on the group leader. We simply can not land using the arresting wire on that second carrier.
