But all the good job went to the trashcan when this BUG called starforce starts to screwing my happiness. Come On! what "significant changes of the computer hardware configuration" did I make? I dont change nothing rather than apply the official patch! Ulrich Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 I've no idea what "during one day" means. As far as I remember, this means that generated hardware code will expire in 24 hours and you'll need to generate a new one if you didn't perform activation.

The software forced me to reactivate after installing the patch. Stupid of me though to not consider deactivating before i just reactivated in blind stress. Skkuda Posted August 11, 2009 Author Posted August 11, 2009 Ok after messing around with the deactivation/activation stuff, got the game running again by the way activations lefts......6 So Ulrich.....I do lost one activation. Seems that install the patch over some addons like lee dust and dragon airports textures were the problem. Ok, that was my fault. Im going to assume that. But that activation/deactivation process is a Pain in the A$$ As a consumer/customer wasn´t feel protected. As for me, I doubt a MOD can be the cause. Regarding the activation loss in general (not when one installs the patch). It's really a rare problem. A very rare problem. Only a few from a thousand meet with such difficulties. As for me, I doubt a MOD can be the cause. Hi well, I uninstalled BS completely before re-installing and then patching afterwards - at that stage no mods have been loaded. Still, it asked for activation and consequently one activation went down the drain :( But I'm with you in thinking that a Mod should not have such a cause... BR, -Axel-
