Wow even from just reading the Docs, it looks like you've put a ton of work into this.

Everything works fine for me. Beautiful mountains, the Kino group in the background, and off we go.

 

ps. The only thing that bothers me is the helicopter's position marker on the map. It's in the wrong place, but that's the fault of the Mi-24 module or the Afghanistan map, not the campaign itself.

I'm sure you set all CB switches on the left panel on! That's the problem!

In Chuck's guide, it is clear you should left OFF. And it will work!

Yes. I have everything connected according to the checklist. I know the problem lies with the modules. They're missing some kind of connection. Just like the Mi-24 is missing one level of the Afghanistan map. Everything's fine on my end.

This is truly excellent work you've done. I've been waiting for something like this for the Mi-24.

Please check again. I had the same problem with the helo marker all over the place but once I left the "Airspeed to Doppler" switch off, it works.

You might also wanna try doing the autostart function: it should work then! (Just played M03 today a couple of time and for me it was definitively leaving that particular switch turned off.)

I never turn it on. I've never had a problem with it in other flights, whether online or offline. I ran the entire YoYo campaign for the Mi-24 on the Kałkaz map, and the marker follows the line perfectly.

ps. I really don't have a problem operating the Mi-24. I'm familiar with this helicopter.

Hmm, sorry. I am rather new with the Mi-24 but like I said: I had the same problem, then it fixed itself. I can only talk about M03 so far though, I didn't go back to M01 and M02 to see if I can fix it there. 

Have you tried the auto start?

Thanks, but it's not particularly difficult. Do it a few times with the checklist, and then it'll be automatic.

As for the map, it works for me; I just sometimes have problems with the markers on the map pointing correctly.

Great fun. I have to limit myself to one mission a day so it doesn't end too quickly. It's incredibly addictive.

Regarding the incorrect marker reading on the map, I selected the mission again and checked the magnetic declination in the lower cabin. It was set to 2.4. I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but since I've been keeping it set to 2.2, I haven't had any problems with the readings.

I just did the first (real) mission, and it's off to a great start already. I loved the dialogue (Petrovich calling out he spotted a cloud made me laugh out loud )!

The campaign is of a very high standard. The dialogue adds a lot of realism and is a great addition. It's just a shame I can't turn off the subtitles; they're a bit distracting me. The missions are very well planned and offer a lot of variety. I enjoy the unexpected twists and turns of the action. I put on some music from that period (I really like it) and have a great time.

In the ninth mission, I noticed slight differences in the flight directions given between the kneeboard and the cartographer.

I don't live in Poland so I didn't learn Russian in school. I started it out of my own free will because of being interested but the complexity (and the fact that I was already learning 3 other languages at the time) turned me off. I understand subtitles being distracting if you're familiar with the language and the enunciation of what's being said is good
