The Contender Posted Wednesday at 09:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:24 PM When any mode of an HMCS alignment is being executed, pressing Data Control Switch (Dobber) Left (RTN) brings the DED back to the CNI page, but the HUD and HMCS symbology remain frozen in alignment symbology. Pressing 0/M-SEL to cancel or confirm the alignment has no immediate effect. Changes of master modes or the use of the HUD control panel do not reset symbology. If the player pressed Dobber Left while executing an alignment in Course mode, the HUD symbology can only be returned to normal by returning to the HMCS ALIGN page and pressing 0/M-SEL to confirm or cancel the alignment. This is a cumbersome process, so I presume the real F-16 allows pilots to use Dobber Left as a "quick escape" from a HMCS alignment in an ambush situation. Additionally, if Dobber Left was pressed during an AZ/EL or ROLL alignment, canceling or confirming the alignment by returning to the HMCS ALIGN page and pressing 0/M-SEL is possible, but induces further bugs. To avoid cluttering your system, I'll avoid detailing these additional bugs for now, since fixing the original issue should prevent those bugs from happening. If you need more information, let me know.

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted Thursday at 10:25 AM ED Team Posted Thursday at 10:25 AM Hi, Interrupting the HMD alignment is not something standard, its best to keep to the correct procedure. Can you attach a short track replay so we can take a closer look at what you are doing. You can save the track replay when you exit the mission and attach the file here thank you Forum rules - DCS Crashing? I've never even thought about to interupt the alignment of hmcs procedure. But as a code developer you have to put yourself on the lowest level and try to figure out all the posibilites user can do/press,/type/whatEver... but still someone can find another missing piece/glitch sooner or later
