The wheel brakes can be locked by depressing the brakes and pulling the parking brake handle. Brakes are released by depressing brake pedals again.

Yes, I can engage the parking brake by depressing the brake pedals, but it will disengage as soon as you release the brake pedals.

I haven't been in the AJS37 cockpit for so long, so I want to brush up on the control skills recently.

And I still remember how the parking brake worked, and it was working properly.

Did I miss something, or is this a known issue?

Hello QuasarZero!

I have just the same problem!

I use the key W and klick on the parkingbrake handle to set/lock the parkingbrake for now...

My pedals toebrakes work to disengage the parking brake.

Best regards Otulf.

You keep pressing the handle as you release the brakes, right? Have you set the pedals as sliders?

Cheers!

Of course, right.

Yes, my left brake and right brake both are sliders/axis. Parking brake is a button.

Just wanted to check! 👍🏻 (I have no idea why the quoting in the post got so strange).

Cheers!

EDIT: It did it again. 🤷🏼‍♂️

After you pressed both pedals, and pulled the parking brake handle, are you releasing the brake pedals at the same time? If they are not released together and evenly, the parking brake will not engage.
