Rolds Posted July 20 Posted July 20 A friend and I did a night flight and found that the external lights appear to have a very short draw distance. Rejoining into formation was quite challenging. Notice in the last two photos I am looking down from my plane at the airfield, and while I cannot see the lights on my friend's aircraft, I can see the reflection of the light by the tailhook off of the ground. Could the visibility range of the external lights please be greatly increased? I am talking about a factor of say 100 the current distance, maybe even more. Thank you so much for the Corsair I continue to have the greatest fun with it!
Gunfreak Posted July 21 Posted July 21 This is a DCS problem not just the Corsair. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

I don’t know what happened, we had a patch years ago where you could actually see aircraft lights from miles away, as you can in real life, and it seems we’ve regressed. But since I am flying to Corsair now maybe M3 can do some magic on that.
-Rudel- Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Lights use to automatically scale in size as the distance moves out. Not sure why it's broken in DCS.
