unplayable with meta quest 3 controllers in VR

1. It is impossible to grab the throttle (as done in fa18c or p-51d)

2. Grabbing the Stick is messed up - seems to be thinking I am upside down and that the stick-neutral-point is somewhere above my head upside down.

3. Impossible to interact with cockpit by touching (as done in fa18c or p-51d), but rather only via controller "laser"

4. training instructions proceed without waiting, which soon becomes confusing and frustrating.

Since it was completely unplayable in this state I asked for a eagle dynamics for a refund but I would like to know when these problems are addressed so I can maybe repurchase the module.

Asked for a refund…lol.  It’s an early access module, still in development.  Try asking for these things in the wish list section and you may get more traction. These aren’t bugs.

Highly doubt it will happen. Even Heatblur which is a giant 3rd party developer studio. Far larger then any of the others (now that raz is gone) doesn't have vr kontroller support.

As far as I know, none of the 3rd party developers have suppor for VR controllers. Only the ED made ones have.

Well, you are wrong - the community/fan made a-4e skyhawk module has good vr support - you can grab the stick and the throttle with your VR controllers and they both work perfectly fine.

This is also a weird reply - early access or not, if it is completely unplayable a refund is a reasonable move.

I posted my report here on request from eagle dynamics employee who refunded my purchase and said this report would be valuable to the developer.

A4 isn't a 3rd party though, it's a free mod.

We're still learning this VR stuff.  Before, it was accomplished by just adding two items (helper dummies) in the 3d cockpit file, but over the years, it seems there were more added to the system unbeknownst to us.  It also requires programming.

We'll get to it, but the team is working on a higher F4U priority item now.
