Pimax Play v1.41.1

It seems like that V1.41.1 doesn't like any "OPENXR" layer enabled.. I need motion compensation openXR to fly in VR with my motion rig and DCS hangs\Crash when I try to enable it in game... I had to roll back to previous Pimax Play version. (OG Crystal)

Do you have mbucchia's QuadViews installed?
I suspect that might be the cause, as we've discovered compatibility issues between PimaxOpenXR and QuadViews in DCS, which can lead to game freezes. The dev team is aware and currently working on a fix.

yes but I've disabled it from the OpenXR layer managment tool.. the game starts, but as soon as in the cockpit I turn the Motion Compensation ON, with a keyboard shortcut, the game freezes

Reverting to 1.40.4 to get framerates and clarity back.
That was a couple 'o days wasted..
v1.41.1 wobbled worse than ever.

wondering the same @Calvin.Pimax as note you didnt reply to this comment from another use.  Given the headset has only been out for just over a year (and i've hardly used mine - note it got delivered with one failed battery and the headset drops charge really quickly even with the hub etc plugged in)

But I wondering now was the Crystal Original just a test headset to be honest at this stage and to raise revenue, given the very soon after release of the next two versions, its never mentioned in the updates and few weeks ago i tried to find the manual on the website and its not even there.

Seems everything is geared around the light, which is what a third of the price nearly and the Super.  Is there any loyalty for the people that bought in early (as in a year ago) with what is the outlook for this product (and support).

Yeah wasn't great for me, got the ground stutters. But I didn't do much testing and still had mb QV running. So I just uninstalled PP and went to 1.36. then it was fine.

Can you please recommend which version of Pimax Play I should actually download and use??

If you use MB's QV, not the latest one.

Update guys Pimax play installed, Asset added... I try to start DCS from play asset link and it boots up in front of me but not connecting the  Super. Im left looking at stars an planets

This is my link where I normally launch from .. G:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin and I have tried the Binmt exe too..G:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt

Dont have any other exe files set up for years 

Any ideas please??

If just have your headset "running" and launch DCS from its own startmenu - with VR option on in DCS - does it work then? Never bothered with adding DCS to Pimax menus.

No everything bar Headset view....still stars and Planets

Can you please let me know how you launch yours?

No SteamVR!! Do not use it. 

I plug in my headset. Then I see the background with stars… Make sure you have Pimax OpenXR chosen in Pimax Play.

 

After that I click on the DCS icon on my windows desktop as you would do starting any program.  And when DCS launcher program starts I make sure to chose the VR option in this launcher before I press start/launch DCS in the DCS launcher.
