Yuriks Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) I know how to control Hind and flown for a while no issues. Suddenly it started to move rudders all the way to left, by itself. Totally ignores trim and stick Z axis movement. Cyclic holds trim normally. I Double checked special \ Mi24: Pedals auto move is off. No other changes. I recently replaced WinWing and uninstalled their crappy software, could be realtered to that. So removed all the MI24 config, reinstalled module, same. Looking for any ideas, Thank you. Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) Does this happen with other helicopters too? Open the Game Controller window from the legacy Control Panel and check if you see the same behaviour there as well. Have you tried recalibrating? *edit* Also, did you check for double bindings or any other controller conflict? DCS can mess up bindings by itself and is notorious for assigning axes even when they don’t physically exist. Stratos Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I have same problem, I need to stop YAW AP in order to regain control, my YAW AP simply applies too much power since last update. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
div0 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) I have been looking into the Mi-24 just recently. Wondered why it is so difficult to control the yaw. In the special settings section for the Mi-24 Hind unticked "Pedals Auto Move" which made it controllable for me. What is "Pedals Auto Move" used for? Edited 10 hours ago by div0
Raffi75 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I suspect it's something like Auto Rudder. Something that's supposed to help, but actually just gets in the way. In every module where I have "Auto" associated with rudder, I immediately disable it. 2

I suspect that in the real helicopter the yaw autopilot moves the pedals automatically if needed to maintain heading. I have it disabled as well, and I think it's only beneficial for us simmers if we have FFB pedals. Since most of us don't, it's best to leave it disabled to prevent problems. 1 Spoiler Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 96GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo DDR5-6000 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 990Pro 4TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero VPC MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | VPC CM3 throttle | VPC CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | VPC R1-Falcon pedals with damper | Pro Flight Trainer Puma OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings Win11 Pro 24H2 - VBS/HAGS/Game Mode ON
