Essex class hangar deck

is it wip that the essex class got a hangar deck to store aircraft in it ?

I personally don't know how to add static objects to the hangar deck, but it is there.

i mean to store player and ai aircraft in the hangar after the landing to make room on the deck 

just like one the airfield when they land the ai go to a parking spot and shut down

 

just like on the nimitz class from ED

There is a connector at the center of every lift.  It will lower as long as the player and/or AI  is placed correctly over it.

What is considered correct placement over the connector?  Does the engine have to be stopped to engage lift?

Good question, because, even we at Mag3 have difficulty.  The AI doesn't seem to have any issues, since they use the connectors as reference.

Great to know!  Thanks for sharing.  A couple of the guys in vCTF-58 were testing this out not long ago and came to the same conclusion.
