Viking 1-1 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Hey, I spotted some minor problems in M5 today: Some voice lines were off: - We get the picture for the mission at the holding, where he tells us that Hate 1-3 is out, and at the same time Hate 1-3 first reports that he is out - Jester calls good hits on the target on the way back, well after dropping the bombs Some AI issues: - My flight never rolls in to drop the bombs. I´m supposed to be in a 10sec trail, but they just turn to the next WP, without attacking the target - On the way back, we nearly collide with the F5s as we cross their way on the initial to the runway 1 Before you call everything a "bug": RTFM & try again! The flight goes on towards their next waypoint, circle around, then back again, then there's the "Miller Time" call. I decided that I'm not going home with my bombs, so I attacked the target (initially, the wrong one, but I did not drop, went back up, got hit by either MANPAD or AAA, found the correct target, and hit it dead center. I had to refuel due to being in burner a lot, chasing my flight lead (unlimited fuel must be nice when you're AI), made it back, and got N for survival, Y for hitting the target, N for TOT, Y for procedures, and Y for fuel management. I also had a close encounter with an AI flight, except for me, no F5s near the initial, but a cargo plane somewhere around PLAZA (I think) that was coming head-on, and passed about 50 ft over our heads. I did save a track file, but it's 87 MB, no clue where to send it, because it's too large to post here. @[ED]Ben If you need the track, please let me know where to send it to/ upload it. For the next patch I'll change the AI to level bombing to circumvent it. Jester says good hits when the target is hit - the AI probably destroyed it then. The voice lines may collide sometimes, it's all dynamic, depending on where each AI flight is. Regarding the targets, I destroyed my target at least, Jester did say "good hits" so at least I did my part.
