X52 Pro Twist Lockout Questions.

first I have determined that this (very small amount of slop..) slop in the lockout for the rudders has no to little effect in Black Shark.. so I was going to delete this thread, but decided to leave it, as someone might get info that helps anyways..

I lockout my twist on my X52 Pro and use Rudder Pedals. But, I was flying in IL-2 and noticed that my plane wasn't straight. I investigated and determined that even though my twist part is locked out, there is stlil some feedback from the twist part froma small omount of twist bleeding thought the twist of the stick just by holding the stick and moving it.

In other words the lockout has a bit of slop in it and still alkows for a tiny bit of rudder to be applied even though lockout is engaged, While it isn't much, it is enough to cause the rudder to move a bit in both directions.

I think myabe it has increased with age and wear. how to tighten it up and make sure there is no feedback from the sloppiness of the twist not perfectly locked? Maybe tighten up the lockout?

Maybe do this in the Black Shark stick menu?

Thanx,

In IL-2 you can put these twist axis for rudder trim or, flaps... and set a big deadzone for these axis. So they don't interfere whit pedals.

it still shows up in there in IL-2, I looked and it does show up as slop,, in pitch, roll, and yaw..

u can dead zone that twist action in the windows profile, in the control panel.

Since you don't intend for the stick twist to be an input, I would recommend disabling that in the DCS:BS options - axis inputs. There is no benefit to leaving it enabled, only the possible downside. :joystick:

I agree. If you're using rudder pedals you shouldn't have the X52 twist axis assigned to rudder as well. Bound to cause problems.
