Volator Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago For Weser-Wuemme though, the power lines in the approach sector of RWY01 are in fact correct, and looking at Google Maps (I am not familiar with that airfield in RL), the same thing applies to Waren-Vielist RWY06. 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven

Their GIS data probably just says "power line here" without specifying the type. Maybe IRL the poles are much smaller than these? Dima | My DCS uploads
drPhibes Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) They are 110kV "Donaumasten" (Danube towers/masts), which are typically around 25m tall. Edited 1 hour ago by drPhibes
Volator Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just checked the RL approach chart for Weser-Wuemme EDWM, it shows the powerline masts with a height of 180ft, about 50m. It also looks more like a 220KV mast. 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
drPhibes Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 50m seems abough right according to my flying tape measure: 1
