Hawkeye_UK Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago ED, On the FC3 version of the Mig29A it allows for 1150L wing fuel tanks to be fitted to pylon 3 & 5 (inboard stations). This is useful for longer flights , or fast ferry flights (aka in MP when you may need to go from a far base to front line quickly). Just curious the FF does not allow for wing tanks, please can they be added on the next patch? Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DCS & BMS F4E | F14B | AV-8B | F15E | F18C | F16C | F5E | F86 | A10C | JF17 | Viggen |M2000 | F1 | L-39 | C101 | Mig15 | Mig21 | Mig29 | SU27 | SU33 | F15C | AH64 | MI8 | Mi24 | Huey | KA50 | Gazelle | CH47 | OH58D | P47 | P51 | BF109 | FW190A/D | Spitfire | Mossie | CA | Persian Gulf | Nevada | Normandy | Channel | Syria | South Atlantic | Sinai | Kola | Afgan | Iraq Liquid Cooled ROG 690 13700K @ 5.9Ghz | RTX3090 FTW Ultra | 64GB DDR4 3600 MHz | 2x2TB SSD m2 Samsung 980/990 | Pimax Crystal/Reverb G2 | MFG Crosswinds | Virpil T50/CM3 | Winwing & Cougar MFD's | Buddyfox UFC | Winwing TOP & CP | Jetseat
CrazyGman Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Wing tanks were plumbed for the 9.13 or Fulcrum C varients (MiG-29S in DCS). None of the 9.12 native or export varients where ever plumbed for wing tanks, including the low fidelity flaming cliffs version of the MiG-29A (your thinking of the MiG-29S) that is in DCS. One centerline is all we get, however we can extend her range quite a bit by getting high and pulling back to around 85%-90% rpm. Edited 11 hours ago by CrazyGman 1

But is is true that the German Planes are 9.12A's so i would be fine if later on down the road we might get it, but i don't think it's something we should really expect.

So not sure about historical real world on what was around in early 80s, just highlighting the difference we have ingame. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DCS & BMS F4E | F14B | AV-8B | F15E | F18C | F16C | F5E | F86 | A10C | JF17 | Viggen |M2000 | F1 | L-39 | C101 | Mig15 | Mig21 | Mig29 | SU27 | SU33 | F15C | AH64 | MI8 | Mi24 | Huey | KA50 | Gazelle | CH47 | OH58D | P47 | P51 | BF109 | FW190A/D | Spitfire | Mossie | CA | Persian Gulf | Nevada | Normandy | Channel | Syria | South Atlantic | Sinai | Kola | Afgan | Iraq Liquid Cooled ROG 690 13700K @ 5.9Ghz | RTX3090 FTW Ultra | 64GB DDR4 3600 MHz | 2x2TB SSD m2 Samsung 980/990 | Pimax Crystal/Reverb G2 | MFG Crosswinds | Virpil T50/CM3 | Winwing & Cougar MFD's | Buddyfox UFC | Winwing TOP & CP | Jetseat

Hmm you are indeed correct...funny I could have sworn that last time I tested it, It was only for the G and S variant. Might be I just let what I knew about the 9.12 give me the assumption that since that the FC MiG-29A is suppose to basically be a low fidelity 9.12 and the 9.12 didn't have the plumbing for it, -with the exception of some versions that were later converted later in life, that they wouldn't carry it by default.
