need information no crew on the carrier to guide launch and landing?

Hi, I've noticed last night when starting from the carrier, there was no one around to guide me. I just went and got everything ready for take off, then automatically when I started afterburners, I was pushed forward for takeoff. No one to salute to or anything.

When coming back and landed, I just circled around the carrier. Is this a bug? Anyone else notice this?

Is this in a mission you made, or a user mission or even multiplayer? I seem to recall there was a way to use a 'standard' carrier instead of the 'crew and stuff' supercarrier.

Likely you were using the Stennis carrier.  It's "non-supercarrier" so has never had the full new deck crew.  It used to have original deck crew but that was removed until ED can figure out how to have the original crew on it but the new crew on the others, so currently it has no crew at all.

as mentioned above if you are using the CVN 74 the crew will not show. 

If you use 

• CVN-71 Theodore Roosevelt
• CVN-72 Abraham Lincoln
• CVN-73 George Washington
• CVN-75 Harry S. Truman

The crew will show if you own the supercarrier.

I've got multiple paid campaign claiming that the Stennis were replaced by Truman until fixed from ED. So what's the problem with Stennis? Why removing the once already supported feature?
