Hey folks, I am unable to adjust my instrument panel brightness knob in the F18.  I go to move it and it automatically jumps back into a different position.  I can see it moving on it's own...kind of twitches back and forth....but it won't let me me adjust it.  It is almost like it has a mind of it's own, lol.  I have been playing DCS for two years on the same rig in VR and no issues...all of a sudden after all the updates I have this problem, uggg.  Anyone have a fix?

You likely have a double bind.  And DCS is known for adding random double binds on occasion.

I didn’t know there was an axis setting for the instrument panel brightness knob…I will take a look.  What should the axis setting be for the panel knob?

The name? No idea. Just look in the axis settings to check all the axis that are bound, then you should find it if any, and any conflicts.

Cheers!

If you can't find anything double bound try renaming your Saved Games/config folder and see if you get the same issue.  Sometimes there can be corruption in the bindings files that isn't obvious in the binding screens.

That's great. But the custom is to mark that post as the solution, not your post where you say it's solved. 😉

Cheers!

Exactly. Marking the confirmation of the solution would give most credit to users that have the most questions not the most answers 😉
