These are relateively simple changes that currently users are having to adjust manually in files to achieve, but provide a VERY positive impact on their game exprience.

Please can we have:

1. An option to select the DLSS preset
2. An option to render the hud after DLSS has taken effect - (unsure how this operates with DLAA, maybe it would need to be moved up the options list)
3. VR Hanger Background Scene toggle (which I think may already be an option on a dev build?)

It works the same for DLAA.

I support all points

An excellent QoL wish. I support!

Add in ultra shadows, extended visibility ranges and all the hidden good stuff while you're add it.

DLSS4 features can be forced on existing titles. I was thinking of this very issue when I came across this thread so I looked into it and found that you can override any DLSS feature with it's newer version 4 equivalent.

One nice benefit is that you can force the new transformer up-scaling model which gives a significant improvement in upscale quality.

This link shows how:

https://pcoptimizedsettings.com/enable-dlss-4-in-any-dlss-2-dlss-3-game-transformer-upscale-faster-frame-gen/

You can also replace the entire DLSS file in the program directory.

Also...

Turns out some nice people have already developed tools to make it easier:

https://github.com/beeradmoore/dlss-swapper

https://github.com/kaanaldemir/DLSS-Override-For-All-Games

One of those links shows how to force the DLSS driver overlay which tells you what features you are currently using (I think)

An aside... I had always thought that drawing after the upscaling was a default feature of DLSS. Don't quote me on that.

A good summation.  The mfds/ddis are only drawn after the upscaling is done if you create/edit an autoexec file (its on the forum and discord). Myself I use dlss swapper and dlss tweaks to change it to source 80% then upscale instead of 66% for dlss quality.

Just that multiple people have informed others many times in the discord on how to do the mfd and dlss profile settings that it really should be made easier and jammed into the options screen!

Awsome! I had no idea that could actually be done. Thanks! 😀
