Veles Posted Friday at 07:14 AM Posted Friday at 07:14 AM During a fight, when vigorously turning his head, sometimes the pilot's soul "flies away" and he begins to see himself from the outside)))

Veles Posted yesterday at 12:03 AM Author Posted yesterday at 12:03 AM (edited) Yes, that's them. But I've seen this with others too. This appears when using the helmet sight and when turning your head to the right https://youtu.be/bOvWGo1pF4g?si=ov3af7jmvBXo3rS9&t=751 Edited yesterday at 12:15 AM by Veles
swartbyron Posted yesterday at 04:13 AM Posted yesterday at 04:13 AM (edited) This is almost certainly your head tracking causing the problem. When you look right, your viewpoint moves forward, and if you look left, your viewpoint will also move aft a little. Try disabling the Z-axis in your tracking software to test. If that solves your problem, you can leave it off or try moving your tracking monitor or have your IR/reflector clip placed top center of your head and not out to one side. If the Z axis position is lost, it might be a misalignment, and what you see isn't a ghost, but simply a model of the pilot. I fly in VR, and the pilot doesn't have a head , so it's hard for me to really relate. In VR, it's fine. But I think it might be more of a problem with the tracking device's reference point shifting than a bug.
