DanKurt Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 I am a bit puzzled as to why the graphics.cfg file does not reflect any changes I make in the in game options. ie I have changed my screen resolution to 1650 x 1050 but when I exit out of game and check my graphics.cfg file in the DCS root folder, it shows no change: Simulation { resolution = {1024, 768}; bpp = 32; fullscreen = 1; aspect = 1.333333333; Should I be manually changing these setting in the file or just leave it as it is.:helpsmilie:

There are settings for reolutions ect. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ

You can go through the whole DCS folder and find TONS of stuff leftover from lockon and even the flanker games IIRC. Screen resolution and aspect are all handled in-game, so don't bother with it. DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
Celo63 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Must admit, I've seen these kind of redundant remnants in the sequels of various games/sims before. I know its probably a pain to track em all down and weed em out but they really should. Its sloppy programming (IMHO) to leave all that stuff in there if it isn't used or needed.
