Can hear the radio when I'm dangling in the chute.

So I got shot down. As mentioned i can hear the radio when I clearly shouldn't. Also my flight didn't continue with the mission but kept flying along with me.

Finnally it would be nice (although a lot of work) to continue the campaign as a fresh replacement as a rookie wingman.  That would be the most realistic option, reflying a mission is clearly not realistic.

Yes you can hear it, because the campaign uses "Sound to all" triggers for the voice overs, not actual radio transmissions. This way they're not obstructed by stock wingman calls, and safe from ED's baked in, exaggerated  degradation effects.

You can continue the campaign using the skip mission button in the menu.
