Gunfreak Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Seems like a quite common bomb is missing from the F-16? You either have to us 500lb or the overkill 2000lb i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
Solution Tholozor Posted 22 hours ago Solution Posted 22 hours ago USAF typically doesn't use the Mk-83 series of bombs anymore, that's more of a Navy weapon. But when did they stop using them. If the block 50 did use them in the 90s. It should still be available i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

It should still be available I dont know the specifics on when the USAF stopped actually using the Mk-83 series, but the Block 50 as-depicted in DCS is representative of a post-CCIP upgrade around 2007. Lima29 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago The USAF stopped using the Mk83 roughly around the end of the Vietnam war. Since then it has purchased some -83’s, but only for use on the F-22 (as the GBU-32). So, no never been used by the USAF on an F-16 (except maybe an Edward’s test bird).
